Easy Avocado Rose Tutorial

I actually love making avocado roses πŸ₯‘πŸŒΉ and think they’re fun to make. I don’t know why, but they seem to taste even better when styled like this.

I had seen them around for months but never made one, because they looked complicated and frustrating to make. Then one day I just picked up a knife and went for it, and it really wasn’t difficult at all. There’s one trick I’ve learned that really makes a difference though. I find that it’s easier to make if you refrigerate the avocado, unpeeled, at least several hours before cutting it. Also, I know the instructions tell you to use an under-ripe one, but honestly?! I love avocados and want to eat it right after I decorate my toast or whatever I’m using it with. You’ll have a harder time if it’s really overripe though, but those avos are best for mashing up for guacamole anyway.

Here’s the YouTube instruction video that I learned from: Easy Avocado Rose Tutorial And it really is simple. I just watched it once, and then made the rose a couple of weeks later. Still remembered how to do it, and I’m a klutz too, so if I can do it… πŸ˜‚

It’s fun to make, and you can always hide the evidence by eating it up if it doesn’t turn out perfect. haha
